Mendha Chert is associated with the Mendha Limestone Formation of eastern (Pioche Region)Nevada.  Primary outcroppings occur on the west side of Arizona Peak, Nevada.  Named for the Mendha Mine on Arizona Peak.  Outcroppings occur in the Pioche area of the southern Bristol and Ely Springs ranges and Dutch John Mountain.
