Gasconade Chert is associated with the Gasconade Formation of Missouri.  Primarily occurs as beds with extensive exposures in the Ozark uplift in Miller County, Missouri especially along the Osage River and it's tributaries and along Gasconade River and along Courtois and Hazel Creeks in Missouri.
