Distribution Comments:

Ford Lake Chert is associated with the Ford Lake Shale Member of the Imperial Formation of Alaska and Yukon.  Primarily occurs as laminated beds with exposures on the east and west banks of the Yukon River in Alaska in the Ford Lake region.
