orange, red or brown. Less commonly white to clear or dark brown
to black may be present. Dendritic inclusions are present.
Texture: Medium to fine grain
Luster: Waxy to vitreous
Translucency: commonly opaque, but may rarely
be translucent. Thin margins are translucent.

Eyebrow Chert / Jasper is thought to be associated with the Madison Formation of
Montana. Primary outcroppings occur on Flint Creek, a tributary of
Clark Fork River near Drummond, Montana.
