Alaska Peninsula Petrified Wood appears to originate from Unga Island and has primary outcroppings on the west side of Herendeen Bay, the south side of Canoe Bay, in the hills at the head of Albatross Anchorage in the Port Moller region, and several other places along the Alaska Peninsula.
