Description of Physical Characteristics and Flaking Pattern:

This is a medium auriculate lanceolate point with a thin elliptical cross section.  The blade is excurvate.  The shoulders are weak to absent and at an upward angle.  The stem is long and slightly expanding with a concave base.  This point has a random flaking pattern.

This point was reported at the Taye Lake site and the Gladstone site in Yukon.  May be found throughout southwestern Yukon and into Alaska and British Columbia.

Hammer conducted studies into the archaeology of northwestern Yukon archaeology and development of the Yukon Projectile Point Database.  Gotthardt is an archaeologist who has conducted studies into Artic archaeology and development of the Yukon Projectile Point Database.  This point was defined during the development of the Yukon Projectile Point Database, but needs further study,  This is considered a provisional type.
