Description of Physical Characteristics and Flaking Pattern:
This is a small thick diamond to
pentagonal shaped point with a thick elliptical cross section. The
blade is excurvate and beveled on both edges of both faces. The
widest portion of the blade is about the midpoint. The shoulders
range from rounded to sharp and angular. The stem is contracting
with excurvate edges and a base that varies from convex to sharply
pointed. This point has a random flaking pattern.
Size Measurements: Length - incomplete, Blade Width -
21 to 25 mm (average 23 mm), Thickness - 8 to 9 mm (average
8 mm)
