Description of Physical Characteristics and Flaking Pattern:

This is a medium triangular expanding stem point with a thin elliptical cross section.  The blade is excurvate with shoulder that are weak to prominent and at a slight upward angle.  The stem is short and slightly expanding.  The base is straight.  This point has a random flaking pattern.

Size Measurements:   Length - 32 to 55 mm (average 44 mm),  Blade Width - 17 to 18mm (average 18 mm), Thickness - 2 to 4 mm (average 3 mm)   ***Based on small sample size***

This point is primarily associated with the Moctehuma site.  May be found in Suchil Chalchihuites cultural regions of Durango, Jalisco,  and Zacatecas.
