Description of Physical Characteristics and Flaking Pattern:

This is a medium ovoid point with an elliptical cross section.  The blade is excurvate with the tip curving in, becoming almost parallel in the tip one third to one half of the blade, and curving back in towards the base.  The widest part of this type is the top one third to one half of the blade.  This type may have the appearance of a contracting stem.  The base is convex.  This point has a random flaking pattern.

Size Measurements:  Total Length - 55 to 80 mm,  Blade Width - 25 to 40 mm (***based on small sample size***)

This point is primarily found in southern Oklahoma and into the surrounding region.
