Description of Physical Characteristics and Flaking Pattern:
This is a medium thick side notched point with an elliptical cross section.  The blade is primarily excurvate and widest at the base.  Parallel notches are generally shallow and low on the blade.  The stem is expanding with a concaved base.  This point has a random flaking pattern and is commonly crudely made.

This type was identified by Baerreis based on 5 examples recovered from the surface at the Airport Village Site, a plow disturbed multi-component site.  It has since been suggested that these points may represent nothing more than the end of range in morphological variations of other types especially Raddatz and Reigh points (Emerson, McElrath, and Fortier, 2012).
