Description of Physical Characteristics and Flaking Pattern:

This is a medium triangular side notch point with an elliptical cross section.  The blade may range from excurvate to straight.  Parallel U shaped notches enter the blade forming a shoulder that is horizontal and an expanded stem.  The base may vary from straight to concave.  This point has a random to parallel flaking pattern.    

Size Measurements:  Total Length - 35 to 70 mm,  Stem Length - 8 to 11 mm,  Blade Width - 18 to 26 mm,  Neck Width - 13 to 18 mm,  Stem Width - 18 to 26 mm

This point is primarily found in the Northern Plains of Wyoming, Montana, North and South Dakota and into the Plains of Alberta, Saskatchewan, and into Manitoba.
