Description of Physical Characteristics and Flaking Pattern:

This is a medium triangular stemmed point with an elliptical cross section.  The blade is excurvate with shoulders that range from slightly barbed to having a slight upward angle.  The stem is short and parallel to slightly expanding with a slightly convex base  This point has a random flaking pattern.

Unable to discern where the name began, it appears to be associated with Horsefly Hamilton site which was part of the Dolores Research project  There are several professional publications that reference the type, but none mentioned the name or date of the reference of this point.  Because there are professional references to this type, this is considered a valid type.
