Description of Physical Characteristics and Flaking Pattern:
This is a thick large triangular stemmed point with an elliptical cross
section. The blade may vary from excurvate that is long with the tip
curving in and becoming almost parallel towards the shoulder to a
shorter blade with straight edges. The shoulders range from slightly
barbed to having a slight upward angle. The shoulders are commonly
asymmetrical with one shoulder being less defined than the other
shoulders. The stem is straight with a straight base forming a
rectangular stem. The basal treatment include truncated and unfinished,
intentionally snapped, or steeply beveled. This point has a random
flaking pattern.
