Description of Physical Characteristics and Flaking Pattern:
This is a small to medium (.86 to 2.25 inches) side notch point with an elliptical cross section. The blade is primarily excurvate, but may vary to straight. Several examples have finely serrated blades. The shoulders may vary from horizontal to slightly barbed. The stem ranges from expanded to expanding. Parallel notches enter low on the blade and may give some examples the appearance of a corner notch. Basal thinning and lightly grinding is present on this point. This point has a small shallow random flaking pattern on the blade.
