Where this this type was named in unknown.  This type has been discussed by Ritzenthaler (1971), Perino (1985), and has been referred to by many others.  This is considered a valid, but rare type.

Description of Physical Characteristics and Flaking Pattern:
This is a small thin triangular point with a flattened to thin elliptical cross section.  The blade is primarily straight, but may vary to slightly excurvate.  The base is deeply concave and may have a V appearance.  This point is generally well made and has a random flaking pattern.

Total Length - 25 to 51 mm,  Blade Width - 23 to 49 mm

This point if found in Wisconsin.  The exact distribution is not known, but if this point is associated with Dane Incised Pottery, the distribution could be limited to south central to south eastern Wisconsin.
