Description of Physical Characteristics and Flaking Pattern:
This is a medium triangular  bi-pointed knife with an elliptical cross section.  The blade is primarily straight with the widest part of the blade being one half to one third towards the base of the knife.  This knife is commonly beveled and has a random flaking pattern.

This point is primarily found in the coastal regions and Piedmont of Virginia and into Maryland and North Carolina.  Has been reported into Williamsburg County, South Carolina along the Black River.
