Green is an archaeologist who specializes in archaeology of Louisiana.  This type was named in a professional publication.  This type has limited professional recognition and those who do recognize it, feel that dates are incorrect and that there are too many questions regarding this type to see this as a true valid type.  This is considered a provisional type.

Description of Physical Characteristics and Flaking Pattern:
This is a medium triangular corner notch to expanding stem point with an elliptical cross section.  The blade may vary from straight to excurvate.  Notches enter the blade from the corners forming shoulders that range from slightly to deeply barbed.  The stem may vary from slightly expanding to expanding.  The base ranges fro straight to slightly convex.  Basal grinding is commonly seen on this point.  This point has a random flaking pattern.

The validity of this point is questionable due to dates that have ranged from Middle Archaic to Middle Woodland (Anderson et al., 2002).
