Description of Physical Characteristics and Flaking Pattern:
This is a thin small to medium lanceolate Auriculate point with a flattened to thin elliptical cross section. The blade is primarily recurvate with the tip curving in, the edges becoming parallel, the waist becoming constricted, and flaring back out at the base. The basal auricle are generally slightly rounded with a concave base. This point has a random flaking pattern.
Size Measurements:
Total Length - 35 to 65 mm (average 47 mm), Blade Width -15 to 27 mm (average 25 mm), Waist Width - 2 to 4 mm narrower than blade, Basal Width - 3 to 5 mm wider than waist, Thickness - 5 to 7 mm (averge 6 mm).
