Description of Physical Characteristics and Flaking Pattern:
This is a medium ovoid point with an elliptical cross section.  Then blade is broad and excurvate with the widest portion of the blade being at the half to bottom third of the point.  The base is slightly convex with rounded basal corners.  This point has a random flaking pattern.

These points seem to be restricted to the Las Chivas complex of the Llano Grande culture.  They might be found in the Llano Grande cultural regions of Durango.  May be found in other Llano Grande cultural areas of Sonora, Chihuahua, Sinloa, Nayarit, Jalisco, and Zacatecas.
