APACHE (Triangular True Arrowhead) – was described by archaeologist E. Steve Cassells after the Apache people living in the canyons area of Colorado.  Their distribution also includes Utah, Nevada, New Mexico and Arizona.  They are small (1” to 1 ½”), isosceles triangular shaped projectiles with expanded blades and straight bases.  They were in use during the Historic period.  Reference: Cassells, E.
