ALBERTSON (Straight Stem) – was named by Don Dickson for examples recovered from the Albertson Rockshelter (3BE174) in the Arkansas Ozarks. They are medium sized (2 ½ to 3”) projectiles or knives with sharp tips, expanding blades, straight or barbed shoulders and short, straight stems with straight bases. Distribution includes AR, OK, MO and they were in use during the Archaic period.
