ABIQUIU (Corner Notch) – is a Tewa Pueblo word that has several different proposed interpretations including; "hooting of an owl," "ruins," "chokecherry," and "timber end place."   This point type was provisionally named by anthropologist Alston V. Thomas for examples recovered from the Abiquiu Tewa Pueblo in Rio Arriba County, New Mexico.  No additional information or example images are available at this time.
