Wissahickon Quartzite / Vein Quartz is associated with the Wissahickon Formation of Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, and New Jersey.  Primary exposures occur in the Wissahickon Valley of Pennsylvania and in Bucks, Delaware, Montgomery counties, Pennsylvania and Baltimore, Carrol, Cecil, Harford, Howard, and Montgomery counties Maryland.
