Willis Gravel Chert is associated with the Willis Formation which is said to be an extension of the Citronelle Gravels of Alabama, Mississippi, and eastern Louisiana.  The Citronelle Gravels are part of the Lafayette Gravel Formation.  Willis Chert occurs from western Louisiana and into eastern Texas, Nuevo Leon, and Tamaulipas Mexico.  May be the same as the Uvalde Gravel Chert.
