Surveyor Springs Obsidian occurs as a cobble outcroppings around Surveyor Springs, along
Rock Creek and Twelvemile Canyon in Lake County Oregon and into Washoe
County Nevada. Pink obsidian outcrops on a low knoll about one
mile northeast of the spring.
