Redland Chert is associated with the Redland Limestone Formation of southeastern California.  Primary outcroppings occur in the southern Panamint Range, Inyo County, California.  Redland Formation comfortably underlies the Hanaupah Formation and comfortably overlies the Radcliff Formation.
