Harriman Chert is associated with the Harriman Formation of western Tennessee.  Primary outcroppings in Perry County, Tennessee along Lick Creek, Toms Creek, and Marsh Creek. and in  Decatur County Tennessee along Harriman Creek and Cypress Creek.
