Grinnell Argillite is associated with the Grinnell Formation of
the Belt Series of northwestern Montana and southwestern British
Columbia. Primary outcroppings occur on Mount Grinnell, head of
Swift Current Valley and the Appekunny and Robertson Mountains.
This is considered an exotic material.
