Color:  Deerlick Creek Chert ranges in color from a mottled light gray to a very dark gray.  Light bluish gray to a darker blue may also occur.  Quartz or chalcedony inclusions may be present.

Medium (limestone quality) to fine grain (chalcedony quality)
