Color:  Deadwood Quartzite has two variation:

Type 1 is a course grain quartzite ranging from dark red to orange
Type 2 is a fine grain quartzite ranging from a yellowish gray to brown

Texture:

Silica Fabrics / Fossils: Scolithus burrows

Patina:

Heat Treatment:
