Belle Lake Chert is associated with the Belle Lake Formation of New Brunswick.  Primary exposures occur on the south side of Hartin Settlement Road Bridge over the Eel River in York County, New Brunswick.  Exposures also occur from Monument Brook in York County to the Benton Road area in Carleton County, New Brunswick.
