Chalcedony, when freshly fractured is a translucent amber with snowflake
like inclusions, when weathered has a chalky white to yellow appearance.
Texture: Fine grain
Luster: Waxy
Translucency: Semi translucent to opaque

the luster to glossy and produces colors of pink.
